Dashaun is headed to Philly with the 248th pick (Round 7 – Pick 30).

Dashaun will make his mark early on special teams. The Eagles took a similar backer last year, later than expected, in Nakobe Dean. Dashaun and Nakobe Dean play a similar style; Dean is much faster. I think with the right timing and a solid work ethic, Dashaun can make the Eagles 53-man roster. He must find a spot on the field on special teams first. I have no doubts about Dashaun being an NFL-caliber linebacker; there’s no cheetah in the NFL. He will have to add size or speed to survive in the NFL.
