3 – Teddy Lehman – 2001 – vs. (5) Texas
Superman’s leap.
We should just leave it at that but this play was a combination of amazing things. The number five ranked Longhorns looked poised to drive the field and score a game-winning score. Roy Williams and Teddy Lehman had other plans.
Another humorous fact for this play. Defensive Coordinator Mike Stoops had ordered Roy Williams to “don’t leave your feet!” on multiple occasions when calling this blitz. Roy shook his head in the affirmative, trotted out onto the Cotton Bowl field, and made college football history.

With the Red River Showdown today, it seemed fitting to celebrate the 17-year anniversary of Roy Williams' "Superman tackle." pic.twitter.com/5os2GGtUCB
