2023 Super Bowl champion Creed Humphrey was brought to Norman from Shawnee, Oklahoma, in the class of 2017. Ranked as a composite 4-star recruit and consensus Army All-American by 247Sports, Creed was the No. 2-ranked center in the nation coming out of high school.

During the 2018 season, Creed was the pup on the Joe Moore Award-winning offensive line that led the way for Heisman Trophy quarterback Kyler Murray. Creed had one of the more impressive careers up front for the Sooners, accumulating two first-team All-Big 12 selections (2019, 2020), two Big 12 offensive lineman of the year awards (2019, 2020), a Remington Award finalist in 2019 (nation’s top center), and arguably the most impressive list of quarterbacks in his stable in Kyler Murray, Jalen Hurts, and Spencer Rattler (yes, centers value this).

Creed was the steal of the 2021 NFL Draft, selected 63rd overall by the Kansas City Chiefs. In the NFL, Creed has continued his dominant run. Since he arrived in the league, Creed has started in every game he has played. In 2022, Creed was named to his first Pro Bowl, his first All-Pro team (2nd team), and he was the centerpiece on an offensive line that paved the way for Patrick Mahomes to win his second NFL MVP Award.

Creed is regarded as one of the top two centers in the NFL, alongside Eagles center Jason Kelce. ***Bold statement alert*** Creed is the best center in Oklahoma Sooner football history and arguably one of the program’s best players overall.
