Oklahoma will finish out the regular season in West Texas at Texas Tech. The Red Raiders are just 3-3 overall and 1-2 in the Big 12 as of games of Oct. 20, but they have shown explosiveness on offense and solid defense in a win over Texas and a closer than expected loss at Oklahoma State. As evidence of their strength on offense, the Red Raiders are second in the Big 12 in total offense, averaging 484.2 yards per game and first in the Big 12 in passing offense (365 yards per game).

Regardless, Texas Tech is always a tough out when playing at home. The Red Raiders are 3-0 this season at home.

Somewhat surprisingly, these two teams played just three times before Texas Tech joined the Big 12. The Sooners won all three and are 20-6 against the Red Raiders as members of the Big 12. Oklahoma has won 10 consecutive games in this series and is 7-4 in games played at Texas Tech as members of the Big 12. The last time Oklahoma lost to Texas Tech was in 2011, when the Red Raiders defeated the then-No. 3 Sooners 41-38 at Oklahoma. Texas Tech snaps the Sooners’ 10-game mastery and hands Oklahoma a regular season-ending loss. Texas Tech 38, Oklahoma 27
