Here are the projected final Big 12 standings for the 2022 regular season:

                                    Big 12                       All Games

Oklahoma                    8-1                            11-1

Texas                             8-1                            10-2

Baylor                           7-2                               9-3

Oklahoma State         6-3                              9-3

TCU                                5-4                               6-6

West Virginia              4-5                               5-7

Iowa State                  3-6                               5-7

Kansas State             2-7                               5-7

Texas Tech                 2-7                               4-8

Kansas                       0-9                               1-11

Oklahoma and Texas will share the Big 12 regular-season championship and play each other for the Big 12 Championship. Because OU’s one loss during the season was against Texas in the Red River Showdown in October, the Longhorns will earn the No, 1 seed and be the home team in the championship game.

An Oklahoma-Texas matchup is the last thing the Big 12 wants to see with both of those teams leaving for the SEC, most likely as early as 2024. The Sooners will reprise their 2018 Big 12 Championship win over the hated Longhorns and avenge the earlier loss in the regular season just as they did four years ago.
