QB Spencer Sanders – Oklahoma State

A roller-coaster is how you sum up Oklahoma State quarterback Spencer Sanders. We’ve witnessed Sanders tearing up opposing Big 12 defenses, but we’ve also witnessed him turning the ball over in crucial possessions.

The Sooners have gotten both the last two years. In 2020, Oklahoma made Sanders’ night miserable, going 10-19 for only 97 passing yards and an interception. In 2021, though, Sanders threw for 214 yards and also led the Cowboys on the ground with 93 rushing yards in a huge win over their rivals fron Norman.

It’s the same thing every year, but Oklahoma knows the offense relies on the play of Spencer Sanders. Sanders was the First-Team All-Big 12 preseason quarterback.
