TE Ben Sims – Baylor

Ben Sims has slowly progressed through his time at Baylor and was a big part of the Bears’ Big 12 championship in 2021.

With the loss of Tyquan Thornton, R.J Sneed II, and Drew Estrada, the Bears will lean on Sims as a key target in the passing game. The Sooners didn’t have to worry about the San Antonio native in Waco in 2021, but it may be a different Ben Sims in 2022.

The voters had Sims as a 2022 Big 12 Third-Team Offense selection, and it’s no surprise. OU, who has had its fair share of tight-end mismatches, will have another one to deal with.
