No. 1 — Trent Williams (Tackle)

Trent Williams was an animal at Oklahoma. He was a unanimous All-American in 2009 and was a part of the legendary 2008 Oklahoma offense led by Heisman Trophy winner Sam Bradford.

As an NFL player, Williams is clearly heading to the Hall of Fame one day. He is a nine-time Pro Bowler and was named 1st team All-Pro in 2021. Williams played in an NFL that featured Joe Thomas, and Tyron Smith, so it was difficult to get as many All-Pro selections as at other positions. He doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon. In fact, EA’s Madden has made him their first offensive lineman with a 99 overall rating.

Williams is unquestionably the league’s best offensive lineman at the most premium position on the line of scrimmage. Even more incredible is the potentially cancerous bump that was discovered on his head that led him to get surgery and miss all of the 2019 season.

Williams is a special player. He may even be in the discussion for the greatest Sooner ever.
