No. 6 — Tom Brahaney (Center)

A run on centers early. But for good reason. Tom Brahaney was a two-time All-American and was part of the historic offense that tuned out 472 rushing yards per game in 1971. The Sooners had one of the greatest teams of All-Time that year, losing only in the “Game of the Century” to Nebraska. The 1971 Nebraska team is one of the greatest teams ever.

Brahaney was a 5th-round NFL Draft selection by the St Louis Cardinals after his playing days at OU were over. He played nine quality seasons in the NFL before calling it quits on football. Brahaney was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2007.
