No. 5 — Steve Davis

Steve Davis is the winningest college football QB of all-time. How could he not make this list?

His record as a QB for the Sooners was 31-1-1, and he was the QB on two national title teams in 1974 and 1975. He had the knack for making the right decision, which was critical for a triple-option QB.

Davis was a wishbone QB, but even then, he managed to have more TD passes, than interceptions, something pretty uncommon in those days for a QB in the Wishbone offense. In 1973, he ran for 18 touchdowns and threw for nine more. Davis was a winner! He, unfortunately, passed away in 2013 after a tragic plane crash in South Bend, Indiana
