No. 7 — Landry Jones

Yes, I was there, too. I remember holding my breath when he threw the football, and some of the scary interceptions, and near interceptions, he threw over his four years as the starting QB.

Part of the reason the public opinion of him suffered had a lot to do with following Sam Bradford. But Landry Jones leads the entire Power 5 in passing yards in a career. In 2010, he won the Sammy Baugh Award and was Fiesta Bowl MVP. Jones would later be drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 4th round of the 2013 NFL Draft and served as a backup to future NFL Hall of Famer Ben Roethlisberger during his time there.

Eventually, Jones was drafted with the number one pick in the XFL Draft (2020) and played for Bob Stoops , then coach of the Dallas Renegades, before being injured.
