Sophomore shortstop Peyton Graham

As the season went on, Peyton Graham’s stock kept rising. Graham became the first player since Barry Bonds to have four hits and two stolen bases in an MCWS game.

The lengthy 6-foot, 4-inch shortstop has been the Sooners’ big bat all season long and earned a First-Team All-American selection from D1 Baseball, Baseball America, and NCBWA. Graham finished the season with a .335 batting average, along with 20 home runs, and 71 RBI. He also showed his speed with 34 stolen bases. Graham was the only player in D1 baseball with 20 homers and over 30 stolen bases.

Despite the struggling bat in the MCWS championship series, Graham had a stellar College World Series with six hits, and two stolen bags.

Some mock drafts have Graham going late first round, but he’ll most likely be a second-round selection

Projection: Late First Round, Early Second
