No. 4–CeeDee Lamb

CeeDee Lamb nearly didn’t end up at OU, but Sooner fans are sure glad he did. Lamb decommitted and then recommitted to Oklahoma, and started as a true freshman in 2017. He was good that year, then better with a larger role in 2018, but his 2019 season was one for the history books.

In 2019, he caught 14 touchdown passes and had 1,327 yards via the air. He was the unquestioned top option on offense that year and even though defenses were geared up to stop him, it didn’t matter. Just ask Texas. Lamb was simply unstoppable that year, and the Sooners went to the College Football Playoff largely because of the connection between Lamb and quarterback Jalen Hurts.

Lamb is the complete package at wide receiver. He’s difficult to tackle, hard to jump with, and a nightmare to cover. The Dallas Cowboys thought so highly of him they gave him the historic No. 88 jersey after picking him in the first round in 2020. Lamb enters his third season as the number one receiver in Big D, after the franchise traded away Amari Cooper.
