No. 5 — 2016, The Red River Showdown, Oklahoma 45, Texas 40

This Red River Showdown had a bit of everything in it. Though, they all do. Mayfield faced a little adversity in the game, he had one pass intercepted due to a clear-cut missed pass interference on Texas, and another that managed to get tipped. Despite those turnovers, Mayfield would light the Texas defense on fire, scoring four total touchdowns and throwing for 390 yards, mostly to his favorite target: Dede Westbrook.

Oklahoma would pull away later in the game, but as they always do in this crazy game Texas had a chance to win the game in the end. But OU managed to hold on, and this game will always go down as the “Dede Westbrook game,” and for good reason. Mayfield fired it to him as many times as he could.
