NFL Draft guide: Oklahoma football edition

Tim’s Projection: 6th Round

6 feet, 3 inches, 324 pounds

Robinson played a lot of snaps for the Sooners, mostly at guard though he moved to tackle in 2021. For NFL purposes, he is solely a guard prospect. He does not have the athletic talent to play tackle in the NFL.

Robinson is a flawed prospect but has some upside. He has a mean streak, and is nasty in the run game, he is a solid pass blocker which is why at the college level he was able to play tackle. But he lacks a lot of the fluid motion you would like to pull and run outside zone concepts. He has great size, however, and attributes you look for in an NFL interior lineman.

He projects as a guy who can either be a long solid backup or package-based guy, or a lower-tier starter in a system that can get the most out of his talent, and doesn’t run a zone-based system.

Robinson could be an undrafted guy if things don’t fall his way, but with solid size and good attributes he will likely be drafted. Though I think he should have seriously weighed returning to school.
