NFL Draft guide: Oklahoma football edition
Jeremiah Hall, TE
Tim’s Projection: 7th Round Draft Pick
6 feet, 2 inches, 248 pounds
Hall has a somewhat interesting situation on his hands. He did not truly play the TE position at Oklahoma. Hall played more of a hybrid role as an H-back, serving as a tweener between a fullback and a pass catcher.
Most scouts still see him as a fullback rather than a TE, which is problematic for him considering the near extinct nature of that position in the NFL. He is a bit undersized when you talk about tight ends, and he struggled at times blocking on the perimeter at Oklahoma like a tight end would.
Still, Hall was a excellent playmaker at Oklahoma, a security blanket and a staple. He was a big time leader as well, mentoring younger players and holding things together in tough moments. He was a team captain multiple times, and a three-year starter for the Sooners. Someone will probably take a flyer on this young man, particularly due to his character. Hall ran a 4.96 in the 40 yard dash at the combine, and repped 19 on the bench.
