Baker Mayfield’s pancake block in 2015

We all know Baker Mayfield’s personality, the highly competitive and electrifying quarterback that was always fired up for every game has crossed through Norman. If there’s one play that showed the type of player Baker Mayfield was in his collegiate days at Oklahoma, it’s the pancake block he made in Bedlam 2015.

Running back Joe Mixon cut a run back to the right, and all he needed was a block from Mayfield, and he got one. Mixon took off on a 66-yard run to the bright orange end zone, with Mayfield racing him to join the fun. The Sooners handled the Cowboys easily that year in Stillwater, 58-23.
