Oklahoma football injury report vs. Texas Tech, Week 9

The Oklahoma injury report has gotten longer this week, which probably shouldn’t be so surprising considering that the Sooner have gone nine consecutive weeks this season without a bye week. That elusive bye week finally comes next week, and at just the right time with OU’s most difficult stretch of game immediately following.

Fourteen Sooners are listed on the OU injury report this week. The following OU players are listed as “out” for the Texas Tech game: WR Theo Wease (lower leg, out indefinitely), DE Nathan Rawlins-Kibonge (undisclosed injury, out indefinitely), CB Ryan Peoples (ankle, out indefinitely), CB Woodi Washington (undisclosed injury, out indefinitely) and CB Jeremiah Criddell (undisclosed injury, out indefinitely). The following Sooners are listed as “doubtful” for the game: WR Brian Darby (undisclosed injury), WR Cody Jackson (medical issue) and DL Kelvin Gilliam (undisclosed injury). The following players are listed as “questionable”: WR Mario Williams (hamstring), WR Mike Woods (undisclosed injury), DL Marcus Stripling (undisclosed injury), CB DJ Graham (concussion protocol) and S Delarrin Turner-Yell (hamstring). The following Sooner is listed as “probable”: DL Jalen Redmond (knee) and

Sooners vs. Texas Tech, odds, spread, over/under & betting pick Week 9

For the ninth consecutive week the Sooners enter their game with Texas Tech on Saturday as the favorite. Oklahoma is a 19.5-point favorite over the Red Raiders, according to WynnBET Sportsbook. The over/under on the game is 66.5.

The Oklahoma offense should do well with Caleb Williams making his third career start at quarterback and going against a Texas Tech pass defense that is almost as bad as the Sooners’ The bigger question is what OU defense will show up for this game. OU reportedly will have a couple of key performers back on defense for the Texas Tech game, which will certainly help.

I’m picking the Sooners to win, 48-28, and cover — and, no, that’s not a misprint.
