Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals QB

Kyler Murray On Sunday showed exactly why some consider  him a potential NFL MVP candidate coming into this season.

On the road, against a Super Bowl contender, the Tennessee Titans, Murray threw for 289 yards and four touchdowns and ran for another in a 38-13 blowout victory. He made the game look easy and made many fantasy owners happy early in the season.

This win was more than impressive against a tough Titans team that not only got scored on a ton but was shut down on offense as well. This was a full team performance for Arizona, and the margin of victory surprised quite a few people.

Arizona looked like a serious contender in the NFC West, a thought that might have seemed like a bit of a reach during the offseason.

And this is capped off by having an elite quarterback at the helm in another former Heisman Trophy winner in Murray.

The former Texas A&M transfer did not spread the ball around as much as his did while at Oklahoma, though.  This makes total sense when you have a top-three receiver in DeAndre Hopkins.

Hopkins caught six passes for a total of 83 yards and two touchdowns, Christian Kirk was credited with two touchdown catches of his own.

Murray showed an early relationship with rookie Rondale Moore, completing four passes to the young stud receiver.

Only completing passes to five different receivers, including a running back, could be a cause for concern, but when it works as well as this, you leave well enough alone.

Arizona will most likely spread the ball in their next game against the Minnesota Vikings, who look shaky defensively. If they take care of business, Murray’s Cardinals could be setting themselves up early for a playoff spot in a tough division.
