No. 7 — Junior wide receiver Theo Wease

Former five-star receiving prospect Theo Wease stepped up his production from his freshman to sophomore season, catching 37 passes for 530 yards and four touchdowns last season and tying Marvin Mims for the top spot among the Sooners’ young and talented receiving corps.

Wease caught eight passes in OU’s win over Texas last season and had five receptions for 105 yards in a win over Texas Tech. He does some of his best work in the middle of the field, where he made several sensational plays last season, turning short routes into big gainers with his speed and elusiveness.

Look for Wease to again be one of the Sooners leading receivers in the 2021 season, working mostly out of the slot.
