3. Kansas State 48, Oklahoma 41, Oct. 26, 2019, @ Kansas State

No. 5-ranked Oklahoma traveled to Kansas State in late October 2019 with an undefeated 7-0 record and having won 22 consecutive true road games, including the last five games at Kansas State. The Sooners jumped out to an early 10-0 lead, but K-State scored just before halftime to take a 24-23 lead at the intermission. A 17-point third quarter by the Wildcats put K-State up 41-23 after three quarters and a touchdown early in the fourth quarter made it 48-23 in favor Kansas State.

Behind Jalen Hurts, the Sooners rallied in the fourth quarter, scoring 18 unanswered points to cut the Kansas State lead to 48-41. With a minute, 45 seconds remaining in the game, Oklahoma appeared to have recovered an on-side kick, but the referee subsequently ruled that an OU player had touched the ball before it had gone the required 10 yards, and the ball was awarded to Kansas State, which ran out the remaining time on the game clock, preserving the win.
