Freshman QB Caleb Williams is the full package

Williams took the field on OU’s second offensive possession and it looked like he already had a season of college experience under his belt. He ran for 18 yards on his first snap.

The former No. 1 quarterback recruit in the country threw 11 passes in the course of the game and completed 10 of them for 99 yards, including a touchdown pass to redshirt freshman Jackson Sumlin, son of former OU assistant Kevin Sumlin.

Williams also ran with the football for 61 yards on 10 carries. He looked sharp, and it was easy to see why he was so highly touted out of high school in the Washington, D.C. area.
