@Oklahoma State Cowboys, Thursday, Feb. 25

Oklahoma closes out the regular season with a two-day turnaround, home-and-home Bedlam series against in-state rival Oklahoma State.  Traditionally, the Sooners and Cowboys have prevailed on their own home court, and the two teams have split their last 10 games against each other.

This will be the last of three straight road games for OU and the second of three scheduled games this final week of the regular season.

Oklahoma State’s sensational freshman Cade Cunningham leads the Big 12 in scoring (18.2 points a game through games of Feb. 6) and will probably be named Big 12 Newcomer of the Year, if not Player of the Year. It would be terrific if the Sooners could steal a win at Gallagher-Iba Arena, but I think Oklahoma is going to have it hands full in both games. A split in the season series may be about the best the Sooners can hope for — Oklahoma State wins.
