@Kansas State Wildcats, Tuesday, Feb. 23

Road games at Kansas State are another place Oklahoma has historically struggled. But this K-State team is not very good and certainly not to the level of recent Wildcat teams under Bruce Weber. Nevertheless, this is a Kansas State home game, and the Sooners have not won in Manhattan in the last eight trips. OU’s last win at K-State was in Lon Kruger’s first season at Oklahoma in 2012. And that was by just three points.

Ironically, Kruger starred at Kansas State in his collegiate days and from 1986-90 was head coach at his alma mater. His No. 12 jersey hangs in the rafters at Bramlage Coliseum in Manhattan. Kruger is 8-11 against his alma mater as the Sooners’ head coach. Make that 9-11 — Oklahoma wins.
