No, 1 — QB Spencer Rattler

Not only Oklahoma fans, but all fans of college football would agree that Spencer Rattler is pretty good at this whole football thing.

The redshirt-freshman fulfilled the expectations of fans and then some this season, throwing for over 3000 yards and a 28-7 touchdown-to-interception ratio. Three of those interceptions came in one game, the embarrassing loss to Kansas State early in the season, but Rattler used this to fuel his fire and become even better the rest of the season.

After the Iowa State game, Rattler and the Sooners did not lose another gam. The young quarterback showed just how natural of a thrower he is as he got more comfortable game after game in Lincoln Riley’s offense. Many even forget that he ran for six touchdowns this season because of how many great throws he made.

Riley has already proven that he does not need transfer quarterbacks to sustain a top offensive team year in and year out. With someone as talented as Rattler, pairing him with the best offensive mind in all of college football, along with a host of uber-talented wide receivers, will prove to be special for as long as Rattler stays.

In 2021, Rattler opens the season with the best odds to win the Heisman.  After one season everyone across the country knows just how talented this quarterback is.

Expect big things from Rattler in 2021, he will probably exceed whatever expectations you have going into next season. With Rattler directing the field operations and Riley designing and calling the plays, Oklahoma is expected to be right back in national championship contention in the coming season.
