Oklahoma football has won 27 of 30 games with Baylor and is a 22-point favorite at home against the Bears on Saturday night.

That’s nice fuel for the ego of Sooner fans as the season winds down to just two remaining games. The only thing that really matters, however, is that Oklahoma wins the game, whether by a single point or 30. Because failure to do so will end the Sooners’ quest for a 14th Big 12 championship and sixth in a row.

There are a lot of compelling numbers that could tell the story of this game, here are some of them:

0-4 — Baylor’s record in road games in 2020.

4 — Oklahoma ranks fourth in the nation in third-down conversion defense, holding opponents to a 27 percent success rate.

13-1 — Oklahoma’s record at home against Baylor. The lone loss was in 2014, when Baylor hammered the Sooners 48-14 .

24 — The Sooners have registered 24 sacks in the last five games. Their 3.8 sacks per game average ranks fifth in the country.

24-5 — OU’s record in the month of December since the end of World War II (1946-present). The Sooners have won their last four December games and six of the last seven.

28 — Oklahoma has scored at least 28 points in a school-record 60 consecutive games.

46-6 — Oklahoma’s record since the beginning of the 2015 season, Lincoln Riley’s first season with the Sooners as the offensive coordinator.

50.2 — The Sooners’ scoring average over the last five gamed, No. 1 among Power Five teams.

78 — Baylor’s 78 wins since the 2011 season are the most of any FBS team in the state of Texas.

96 — Oklahoma ranks seventh nationally in rushing defense, allowing just 96.0 yards per game.

171 — Baylor has scored in a school-record 171 consecutive games.

9,369 — Career yards passing by Baylor QB Charlie Brewer, second most in school history to Robert Griffin III (10,366).
