Starting off fast: A+

The beginnings and the ends of Oklahoma games this season couldn’t be more different. The Sooners have led in every game this season and have not trailed at halftime in any of their five games, largely because of the way they have started off every game.

In the first quarter along, Oklahoma is outscoring its five opponents this season 68-3. If you take away the Missouri State game, the Sooners are outscoring their Big 12 opponents 37-3 in the opening quarter.

The margin narrows dramatically in the second quarter, but the Sooners are still outscoring their opponents 113-44 in the first half.
