Penalties continue to plague the Sooners, and seemingly come at worst times

Oklahoma was penalized 10 times in the game for a total of 75 yards and six of those were holding penalties on the offense.

A couple of the holding calls came late in the game when it was imperative for the Sooners to sustain a drive. A good gain was called back and the possession ultimately stalled, leading to a lost opportunity and a change of possession.

Penalties have been a problem area for several seasons, and they seemingly come after something positive has just occurred on the field, both offensively and defensively. In the Kansas State game on Saturday, a couple late in the game stood out as killers.
