9. National television exposure

As the television landscape has expanded seemingly exponentially over the years and with network contracts with all of the Power Five conferences, fans are able to see most every game of its favorite team on TV, cable or through various streaming services.

Because of its historical record, Oklahoma has been featured prominently on TV since the Bud Wilkinson years in the 1950s, and still today, the Sooners receive more than their share of prime-time exposure as one of the country’s perennial best teams..

Because of the Big 12’s media contracts with the FOX and ESPN broadcast platforms, Caleb Williams’ family and many fans, who reside on the East Coast, will be able to see Oklahoma and him in action on a regular basis.
