Oklahoma football: Five best Sooner games of the decade

With 109 wins, four College Football Playoff appearances and seven Big 12 championships during the past decade, selecting the best Oklahoma football victories over that time frame is not as easy as it might sound.

Playing under two different head coaches — Bob Stoops for seven of the 10 years and Lincoln Riley for the last three — the Sooners compiled an overall record of 109-25 (.813) and 73-16 (.820) in Big 12 play.

Oklahoma’s .813 winning percentage during the past decade ranks as the fourth best decade in OU’s 125 seasons of varsity football competition.

The decade included back-to-back Heisman Trophy winners (Baker Mayfield in 2017 and Kyler Murray in 2018) and a Heisman runner-up this past season (Jalen Hurts), and 13 First-Team All-Americans.
