Most Improved Player — Kur Kuath

After having his junior season in 2018-19 cut short after six games because of a back injury, 6-foot, 10-inch Kur Kuath played in 30 games this past season for Oklahoma. The junior-college transfer from South Sudan, Africa, played 311 minutes this season after seeing action a total of 33 minutes the year before. He doubled his playing time coming off the bench in 2019-20, averaging more than 10 minutes per game. His contribution was commensurate with the increased playing time.

Kuath averaged 3.4 points and 2.1 rebounds per game and also recorded 46 blocks to lead the team in the latter department. He scored a season-high 17 points in his lone start in a nonconference win over the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
