Most Outstanding Player — Kristian Doolittle

The senior forward from nearby Edmund, Oklahoma, was the Sooners most consistent performer all season. He averaged a team-high 15.8 points and 8.9 rebounds per game, which ranked fourth in the Big 12 in both categories. Despite a five-game stretch in which he failed to score in double digits, Doolittle reached double figures in 23 of the Sooners’ 31 games and scored 20 or more points eight times.

The only senior on the OU roster this season, Doolittle scored 27 points in a loss at Kansas, which was the most points this season at Allen Fieldhouse by an opposing player. He led the Big 12 this season with four 20-point double-doubles (at least 20 rebounds and 10 rebounds in the same game).

A First Team All-Big 12 selection, Doolittle ended his Oklahoma playing career with 1,188 points (assuming he is not awarded an extra year of NCAA eligibility because of the shortened season). He is the 47th player in Sooner basketball history to score 1,000 or more career points and is the 15th Oklahoma Sooner to score at least 1,000 points and grab more than 700 rebounds.
