The Sooners will win 56-17, but postgame will be dominated by Texas talk

Oklahoma will give up a cheap touchdown early and another one late once the starters are out, but won’t have any problem scoring when they have the ball. Jalen Hurts and company will put up somewhere around 42 points then hand things off to the second team.

We all know the Sooners are working extremely hard to avoid looking forward on the schedule, especially with a road trip against a coach with a national title under his belt, but once the Sooners put this game out of hand in the second half, the announcers will begin their unofficial Red River Rivalry preview show.

The talk will continue in the press conference after the game where players and coaches will be asked questions about Texas as reporters search for soundbites to use during this week leading up to the biggest regular-season game on the Big 12 conference schedule.

Believe me, most of them already have the questions ready.
