The defense will score a touchdown

We are quickly finding out that Alex Grinch’s emphasis on turnovers isn’t just lip service.

The Sooners are currently leading the Big 12 in turnover margin and already have one defensive touchdown on the year when Brenden Radley-Hiles took a screen pass back the other way for six.

This week Oklahoma will find a way to get No. 2.

The three-man rotation at corner has upped everyone’s game on the outside for Oklahoma. With snaps at a premium Parnell Motley, Jaden Davis and Tre Brown are all trying to make an impact every time a pass is thrown their way.

One can clearly see the way the Sooners have shifted from “survive the down” to “attack”, especially on third-down situations.

Whether it comes from the secondary or a pass rush strip sack from Neville Gallimore, Ronnie Perkins, LeRon Stokes, Nick Bonitto, Jalen Redmond or a returning Kenneth Man, we’re predicting the Sooner defense finds a way to get the ball out of the hands of the Jayhawks offense and into the end zone to help build even more momentum entering the biggest game of the year.
