Kicking game is coming around

After four seasons of having Austin Seibert handle all the kicking duties for the Sooners, this season there are three different players doing the kickoffs, punting and field goal/extra points.

Redshirt freshman Gabe Brikic is doing the kickoffs. Nineteen of his 28 kickoffs so far have gone for touchbacks. Reeves Mundshau, a redshirt sophomore is doing the punting and is averaging just under 40 yards per punt. Calum Sutherland missed on his first two field-goal tries, but connected on a 22-yarder and a 32-yarder in the win over UCLA. He is a perfect 23 for 23 on extra points.
