Defensive line

Defensive end depth chart

  1. Ronnie Perkins (So.)
  2. Jalen Redmond (R-Fr.)
  3. Laron Stokes (Jr.)

Redmond has been rumored to move from Rush LB to  more of a defensive end, with what appears to be a vision to see Redmond and the talented Perkins on the field together. Between changing positions, and battling injury this off season, it’ll be interesting to see if Redmond gets snaps early and often this season, especially with Laron Stokes having a good spring.

Nose Tackle depth chart

  1. Neville Gallimore (R-Sr.)
  2. Marquise Overton (R-Sr.)
  3. Dillon Faamatau (R-Sr.)

Gallimore has apparently been amazing these last few weeks and has his spot on lock down, it’s more so of a competition between Overton & Faamatau regarding who the number two guy is.

Defensive Tackle depth chart:

  1. Kenneth Mann (R-Sr.)
  2. Marcus Stripling (So.)
  3. Kori Robinson (Fr.)

Mann will convert from being a pass rusher on the edge, to being more on the inside in coach Grinch’s new defensive scheme. Marcus Stripling and Kori Robinson has hit the ground running in camp, and those two kids are no slouches. They came to Oklahoma with offers on the table from major schools like Alabama, Texas, Georgia, Arizona and others. Expect their roles within the team to be much larger next season.
