Running back

Depth chart

  1. Trey Sermon (Jr.)
  2. Kennedy Brooks (R-So.)
  3. T.J. Pledger (So.)
  4. Rhamondre Stevenson (Jr.)
  5. Marcus Major (Fr.)

This RB room is deep this season. Running behind a new offensive line does cause for some concern, but I believe OU will run the ball even more than last season, not only with its deep stable of running backs but with QB Jalen Hurts, as well. A bold prediction for the season is that OU will produce THREE players within the offense that will surpass 1,000 yards rushing in Sermon, Brooks, and Hurts.

The backups are solid as well, and if an injury was to occur, I believe they would fill in nicely. We got to see a little bit of T.J. Pledger last season, and he has apparently looked good throughout the offseason. Rhamondre Stevenson Jr. is a talented JUCO transfer, and Marcus Major is a talented freshman. Needless to say, this RB room is looking great for Oklahoma again this year.

Fullback

Depth chart

  1. Brayden Hills (So.)
  2. Jeremiah Hall (R-So.)

This wont be the most used position in the offense, but Coach Riley has used fullbacks in the past like Dimitri Flowers, and Hills can be used in a similar role.
