Theo Wease

The second highest ranked was Theo Wease from Allen, Texas. Wease was also a 5-star and he was the third best receiver in the nation according to 247 sports.

Wease has an innate ability of ending up with the football whether that means jumping over the defender or making a sliding catch in the back of the end zone.

He gave the football world a glimpse of that during the Under Armour senior all star game. Where he was one of the more impressive offensive players.

He made a sliding catch in the back of the end zone while keeping his body inbounds. He then stood up and through the horns down sign on national television. Igniting every Sooner fans excitement for the coming year.

Safe to say that he is already a fan favorite and has the ability to be a focus piece of the offense for years to come.

Trejan Bridges was the third ranked receiver in this class. A 4-star recruit who was just outside of top 10 list of receivers.nWhile the 6’1” Texan star might be slightly overshadowed by the other receivers in this class, he still has the talent to give every defensive coordinator headaches.

He can out jump many defenders, similar to the other receivers, but what sets him apart from the rest is his speed.

He has track level speed and he showed it during his high school campaign. Where he made plays returning kicks, taking handoffs and of course catching passes. His spring game performance, three receptions with 76 yards, shows that while he may be overshadowed he won’t stay in that shadow.

These three freshman will quickly make a name for themselves and show how this young core might be the most explosive in the country.
