Patty Gasso
Sooner head coach Patty Gasso has been at Oklahoma for 25 seasons. All 25 of her Sooner teams have advanced to the NCAA postseason.

She has won 1,248 games, a .798 winning percentage. That included four national championships and 13 conference titles, including the last eight in row, while at OU.

Gasso’s Sooner teams know how to win, and they have done so with great regularity. Her teams have finished first or second in 20 of the 24 seasons Oklahoma has been a member of the Big 12 (the Sooners also finished first in 1995, the last season of the Big Eight and Gasso’s first season at OU).

Oklahoma has been to the Women’s College World Series 12 times under Gasso’s leadership.

The 2019 Sooner team is undeniably one of Gasso’s best. They come into the NCAA postseason as the top-ranked team and the No. 1 overall seed. With Gasso at the helm, that combination makes Oklahoma a dangerous team and a deserving top seed.

In a double-elimination format, the Sooners are definitely going to be a difficult out.
