Sooner seniors are seeking their third national championship in their OU careers

Six seniors on the 2019 OU roster played on the 2016-17 Sooner teams that won back-to-back national championships. Four are starting position players on this year’s squad (second baseman Caleigh Clifton, first baseman/designated player Shay Knighton, third baseman Sydney Romero and outfielder Falepolima Aviu). Reserves Raegan Rogers and Kylie Lundberg also were on those championship teams.

All six have been to the Women’s College World Series every season they have been at Oklahoma and they have won four consecutive Big 12 championships.

Oklahoma has a compiled an overall record of 224-24 during the four seasons these six seniors have been at OU, and the Sooners have gone a combined 70-2 in the Big 12 over that same time frame.
