Oklahoma is leading the country in a number of statistical areas in 2019

It’s remarkable, really, in how many NCAA Division I statistical areas Oklahoma ranks No. 1 as a team through 51 games this season. I can name at least eight:

Batting average: .361

On-base percentage: .456

Slugging percentage: .675

Home runs per game: 1.90

Earned Run Average: 1.15

Shutouts: 23

Fielding percentage: .986 (16 errors in 951 fielding attempts)

Won-lost percentage: .961 (49-2)

On top of that impressive list, the Sooners rank second in the country in runs scored per game (7.98).

You tell me, how do you not go with a team that has it all: outstanding hitting, outstanding pitching and an air-tight defense?
