Schools rankings in order from best to worst as far as fit goes:

Notre Dame: 28-40

Arkansas: 28-40

UCF: 28-40

Memphis: 27-40

Arizona: 26-40

Nebraska: 25-40

Iowa: 24-40

Colorado: 24-40

USF: 24-40

FIU: 24-40

San Diego State: 23-40

Arizona State: 22-40

Colorado State:22-40

BYU: 20-40

It’s evident after looking at these teams that the Big 12 has a plethora of options as far as expansion goes.

My personal favorites?

Arizona and Arizona State: I personally don’t think the Big 12 could take teams away from the Big-10 or SEC, but the Pac-12 I believe is vulnerable. Bringing in Arizona and Arizona State brings in two rivals, and allows the Big 12 to expand further west.

Colorado and Colorado State: Like the tandem of Arizona and Arizona state, Colorado and Colorado State brings a rivalry to the Big 12, along with pushing the conferences borders out west as well.

Memphis and UCF: If the Big 12 can’t bring in any power 5 conference teams, they should go after two AAC schools on the come up. Both schools can help in both Football and Basketball, and brings the Big 12 into SEC recruiting territory.

Who do you guys think are possible teams that could land in the Big 12? Will the conference expand at all?
