House Tully: Kansas

We’re all pretty sure that House Tully used to be really important, but we can’t really remember why. Still all the other houses in the Seven Kingdoms always seem to have business there through marriage, battles or other dealings.

Kansas hasn’t been exactly relevant in football in quite some time, but the Jayhawks remain in the conference due to alliances with other programs (and something called basketball?). Still, with a new leader in Les Miles, this house could still play an interesting role in the wars to come.

House Tyrell: TCU

A quiet house through a good portion of the history of the Seven Kingdoms, House Tyrell became a major player in the battle for the Iron Throne by biding its time and choosing the correct moment to burst on to the scene. The same can be said for the Horned Frogs program.

After finding themselves on the outside looking when the Southwest Conference dissolved to make room for the Big 12, TCU became one of the premier mid-major programs in the country with stints in the WAC, Conference USA and the Mountain West before returning to the land of the major conferences in 2012.

Much like the Tyrells, the Horned Frogs aren’t happy just to be there though. They have one conference title and are one of only three programs to appear in the revamped Big 12 Championship Game.
