No. 13 pick Miami Dolphins

Why it could happen? The Dolphins haven’t been great at quarterback since Dan Marino retired two decades ago and folks in South Florida are clamoring for their team to pick one of the signal callers on the board this year at No. 13. The Dolphins are so quarterback-crazy that they may very well end up trading up to get the guy they want.

The case against it: The Dolphins seem like they are going to pull the trigger on a quarterback, but is Kyler Murray what they are looking for? Will they be too scared to pull the trigger on a 5-foot-10 quarterback and go with one of the safer players available? Also one has to ask themselves if Miami is the best landing spot for Kyler Murray. The Dolphins don’t have the developed players around the quarterback spot some of the other teams on this list can boast.

No. 15 pick Washington Redskins

Why it could happen? The Redskins should be considering a quarterback. Alex Smith isn’t getting any younger and there are questions about how he will recover from a devastating broken leg injury last year. Samaje Perine, Tress Way, Adrian Peterson and Trent Williams already represent the Sooners in our nation’s capital. This would just add to the OU-Washington D.C. connection.

The case against it: See above. The Redskins are probably going to take a quarterback, but is Murray the right answer for them? Also, we are getting down toward the middle of the first round and another question starts to become important: Will Murray even be available by this point?
