No. 3 – Bobby Evans | offensive lineman | Original rank: No. 13

A consensus four-star recruit, Evans lived up to the hype during his time as a Sooner. He started in 40 games and was an All Big 12 honoree in all three of his seasons as a starter including a second-team selection in 2018 as a left tackle. Evans was known for his versatility, moving from right to left tackle and protecting Heisman winner Kyler Murray‘s blind side all through 2018. Evans elected to skip his senior year and declare for the NFL draft in early 2019. Evans gets a slight nod over fellow offensive lineman Cody Ford based on longevity. Grade: Standout

No. 2 – Dru Samia | offensive lineman | Original rank: No. 8

Holy cow, was this offensive line class loaded. Dru Samia started his career by becoming one of only 10 true freshmen to ever start at tackle for the Sooners. His sophomore season he moved inside to right guard where he became a three-time all conference and one-time All American selection. Samia started in 48 games through his Oklahoma career and saw action in another four. He didn’t give up a single sack his senior season. Samia wins the iron man award for this class, playing the most snaps of anyone in the 2015 group. Grade: Standout

No. 1 – Dede Westbrook | wide receiver | Original rank: No. 7

Blazing fast and teeming with raw talent, Westbrook became a starter in 2015 before putting together one of the greatest single receiving seasons in program history in 2016. He won the Biletnikoff award and finished fourth in the Heisman voting that season. Westbrook finished his two-year Oklahoma career with 2.208 yards on 126 grabs and 21 touchdowns. He also broke the school record for receiving yards with 232 against Texas. He was selected in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars. He led the team in receptions, yards and receiving touchdowns last year. Westbrook’s legacy goes beyond his contributions on the field as his success has become a recruiting advantage for the Sooners, allowing Oklahoma football to lure multiple top players at the receiver position in recent seasons.
