Kansas vs. Missouri

This rivalry is based on an actual military conflict that resulted in actual bloodshed and was so contentious the two programs can’t even agree on the all-time series record.

College football is missing out every year these two programs aren’t playing each other.

Texas vs. Texas A&M

This is a big one.

The Aggies and Longhorns went through a messy breakup when A&M spurned the Big 12 and went looking for greener pastures in the SEC and the sport has been suffering for it ever since.

This is arguably the best college football rivalry not being played every year (with Oklahoma-Nebraska deserving consideration as well). It’s crazy to think that recruits currently playing Texas high school football may very well have no memory of this once-great game and it’s Thanksgiving Day tradition.

Texas Tech vs. Arkansas

The Red Raiders and Razorbacks played every season from 1957-91 and even added a home-and-home series in 2014-15 to try and renew that old rivalry.

Remember Kliff Kingsbury‘s rant against Bret Bielema after Tech beat Arkansas in 2015? Can you imagine getting to see more of that? I am all for it.
