5. Dec. 2, 2017 — Oklahoma 41, TCU 17 in Arlington, Texas

Oklahoma had already beaten TCU, 38-20, in the regular season, but had to beat the Horned Frogs again in the Big 12 Championship game to win the conference crown. Baker Mayfield threw for 243 yards and four touchdowns and Rodney Anderson rushed for 93 yards as the Sooners raced out to a 17-0 first-quarter advantage and never trailed from there.

TCU scored 17 unanswered points in the second quarter and cut the OU lead to seven points at the half. The third-ranked Sooners broke the game wide open with another 17-point outburst after halftime and cruised from there to a 41-17 victory, their 11th Big 12 championship and earning a spot in the College Football Playoff.
