Everything is on the line for Oklahoma football when the Sooners meet West Virginia on Friday night.

The Sooners are ranked No. 6 in the latest College Football Playoff rankings , are10-1 on the season and on top of the Big 12 with an 7-1 record, but unless they defeat West Virginia, they probably won’t play in the conference championship game.

The numbers 19, 16 and 6 are also on the line in Friday’s marquee Big 12 showdown. These represent, respectively,  Oklahoma’s current win streak in true road games, consecutive wins in the month of November and wins over the Mountaineers in the six seasons since they became member of the Big 12.

Oh, and there’s also the number three: That’s how many consecutive Big 12 titles the Sooners have captured, going for  number four this year. That will require two more Oklahoma victories, however, starting with West Virginia on Friday.

The Sooners are the only Big 12 team West Virginia has not beaten since joining the conference.

Here are some more numbers to whet your appetite for Thanksgiving leftovers and arguably the prime football matchup of the 120-game Big 12 season:

1 — Oklahoma leads the nation in total offense, averaging 576.1 yards per game. West Virginia in No. 10 in that category, averaging 502 yards per game.

10 — A win over West Virginia on Friday would send Oklahoma to the Big 12 Championship game for the 10th time. There have only been 18 Big 12 Championship games in the 23 years since the Big 12 was formed (a conference championship game was not held from 2011 through 2016).

30 — The Sooners are the only FBS team this season with at least 30 rushing touchdowns and 30 passing touchdowns, underscoring the balance in their nation-leading offense.

45 — Oklahoma has scored at least 45 points in seven consecutive games.

50-49 — The score of the 2012 game between OU and WVU in Morgantown, the first as members of the Big 12, with Oklahoma winning. There was 1,440 yards of combined offense in that contest.

50.6 — Average points scored by the Sooners in eight Big 12 games. West Virginia has averaged 39.6 in conference games.

261 — Total points scored in the last three games between Oklahoma and West Virginia played in Morgantown. The Sooners outscored the Mountaineers 153-108 in those contests.

894 — Number of all-time wins by Oklahoma in 124 years of college football. That ranks eighth among all teams. West Virginia ranks 14th in all-time wins with 752 in 127 seasons.
