After a successful summer on the camp circuit Rivals.com has promoted two more Oklahoma football commits to five-star status in the 2019 recruiting class.

The new Rivals 100 list was released today and Oklahoma’s 2019 class finds itself in elite company. Spencer Rattler and Trejan Bridges both joined Theon Wease in the five-star club.

The newly-minted five stars move Oklahoma int a tie with LSU and Auburn for the most in the country. The Sooners currently sport the No. 6 class nationally with 17 commitments.

Wease was ranked the No. 1 receiver and the No. 2 player overall in the 2019 class according to the recruiting service. The 6-foot-3 Allen, Texas product chose Oklahoma over Texas, Alabama, Miami, Auburn, Georgia, USC and many others.

Rattler, a 6-foot-2 quarterback out of Pinnacle High School in Phoenix Arizona, is ranked as the No. 21 overall prospect and the No. 1 dual threat quarterback in the class. He currently has offers from Texas, Notre Dame, Alabama, UCLA and more.

Bridges is a 6-foot-2 receiver from Hebron High School in Carrolton, Texas. His offers include Alabama, Ohio State and Oregon.

One must go all the way back to 2008 to find the last time Oklahoma pulled in three five-star recruits in the same class. That year Oklahoma hauled in defensive end R.J Washington, offensive lineman Stephen Good and running back Jermie Calhoun. Oklahoma has only brought in ive five-star players (Joe Mixon, Caleb Kelly, Trey Metoyer and Brandon Williams) in the eight classes combined since then.

In addition to three five stars OU also landed three more players on the Rivals 100 list. Arjei Henderson, a 6-foot-2 receiver out of Richmond, Texas was ranked No. 34. Woodi Washington, a 6-foot defensive back from Murfreesboro, Tenn. was No.  40 and Stacy Wilkins, a 6-foot-7 offensive tackle from Camden Ark., was No. 56.

The Rivals 250 list comes out tomorrow and is expected to include even more Oklahoma commits and potential targets.
