Oklahoma football: How does the Big 12 stack up behind OU in 2018?

No. 9 Texas Tech Red Raiders (2-10, 1-8)
For the first time in a number of years, the Red Raiders enter the season with a question mark at the quarterback position. It also will be the first time in quite some time we have seen a dual-threat QB at that position for Texas Tech. Both of the lead candidates (sophomore Jett Duffey and junior McLane Carter) can beat you with the arms and legs.
Texas Tech alum and former quarterback Kliff Kingsbury will be under a lot of pressure this season to win games, something that won’t come that easily in 2018.
Another way in which 2018 will be an oddball year for the Red Raiders is that their usual high-potency offense is the least experienced unit and the one with the most question marks between the offense and defense. That does not bode well for a team that always seems to give up tons of points.
